While fishing for carp and buffalo on Lake Fork, Norbert Samok landed the big one.  Fishing with corn and plastic corn, Norbert caught a new Lake Fork record buffalo on Thursday, March 28.  His fish weighed  71 1/2 pounds.  Lake Fork Sportsman's Association called Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in Tyler, who confirmed that Norbert's fish would indeed be a  lake record.  TPWD sent biologist Evan Cartabiano to certify the catch.  Norbert is originally from Hungary and now lives in Westchester, New York.  He was fishing with friend, Laszlo Kovacs.
LFSA congratulates these anglers for setting a new Lake Fork record buffalo.
