Lake Projects

The LFSA along with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Williams Creek Crappie Club built and placed 40 fish attractors in Lake Fork. The fish attractors are built from 2 inch PVC pipe and 4 inch corrugated pipe. The vertical pipes are filled with pea gravel to help sink the attractor once it is lowered into the water.

The attractors are placed in clusters of 5 in a circular pattern. They are put in about 25 feet of water. The objective of this project is to provide anglers, not familiar with the lake, with areas known to attract fish thus enhancing their fishing experience. GPS coordinates for these sites can be found by going to the TPWD website.
